FAQs
Are you a photographer and videographer?
I have been a wedding videographer since 2019, and recently have started to offer photo sessions as well.
Why do I need a videographer?
In the past, videography has been viewed as a luxury item, but I truly believe it should be one of the first vendors you book for your wedding! Videography captures moments in time in a different way than photography does - a film allows you to hear the voices of the people you love, visualize you and your partner moving together in love, and enhances your unique story with music.
What does a videographer do?
A wedding videographer takes on many different roles throughout the wedding day (and in the months beforehand). Our most important role is to capture your relationship through film, but that means directing people, setting up microphones for audio, perfecting camera lighting and reception lighting, making sure we don’t miss your most important moments, and making sure you are having a good time! After your wedding, we edit your film along with music and audio throughout the day.
Do I get to pick the music?
I use a music licensing site to ensure that all of the music I use is fully licensed and allowed to play on all social media platforms. This way the artist is also getting compensated for their music. I am very familiar with this website and have a good sense of what songs “fit” certain couples. I am definitely open to sending my couples a link to this website to browse at their leisure, and open to talking through any suggestions / preferences!
When + how will I receive my film(s)?
I deliver all films within 60-90 days of your wedding date - this is often based on the time of the year, how many films are in my queue, and is stated in your personalized contract! I deliver your teaser film within 1-2 weeks.
All films are delivered via online portal called WedFlow. This site allows you to view and download your films from any device. I always deliver two versions of a film - a slightly lower quality version specifically for instagram or saving to your phone (mobile version), and a high quality version for uploading to any other platforms as well as an external hard drive (HD version). WedFlow will allow you to access your films online for one year, but I strongly recommend saving all films to an external hard drive so you can view for years to come!
